Role Overview
The Senior Technical Program Manager will drive complex cross-functional initiatives within Mastercard’s Service Delivery team. This role demands a strategic thinker who thrives in technical, fast-paced environments and possesses excellent decision-making, program management, and communication skills to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise-level solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Accelerate project progress by removing blockers and enabling crisp, timely decision-making.
Decompose complex problems into manageable tasks from ideation to execution.
Organize and prioritize project tasks, manage risks, and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
Track SDLC milestones and actively manage dependencies and deadlines.
Maintain accurate TPM documentation, delivery artifacts, and reporting metrics.
Communicate project status, decisions, and outcomes clearly and effectively.
Build consensus among teams, ensuring a shared understanding of solutions and business impact.
Manage scrum delivery while understanding system functionality, architecture, and business use cases.
Represent team deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead retrospectives, team check-ins, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with vendors and partners, aligning them with the delivery roadmap.
Work autonomously while seeking feedback and alignment with organizational goals.
Technical Requirements
Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technical programs.
Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Expertise in program tracking tools, milestone management, and delivery best practices.
Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies.
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
Familiarity with technical architecture, APIs, system integrations, and enterprise platforms.
Strong documentation, metrics reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to manage technical dependencies, blockers, and cross-team coordination effectively.
