Role Overview
Mastercard is seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Program Manager with hands-on experience in managing cross-functional programs, delivering complex projects, and driving global execution. This role demands a strong blend of leadership, stakeholder management, Agile and Waterfall experience, and data-driven execution.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and define project/program scope, deliverables, and timelines in line with strategic goals.
Drive end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
Organize and facilitate Scrum calls and Agile ceremonies while managing progress across teams.
Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and issues (RAIDs) with proactive tracking and escalation.
Develop and share regular status updates and governance reports with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable seamless coordination and drive alignment.
Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through clear communication, effective planning, and risk mitigation.
Lead project audits and support compliance with Mastercard’s delivery and security standards.
Leverage tools like ALM, Jira, and Confluence for effective tracking and visibility.
Technical Requirements
Experience in project/program management using both Waterfall and Agile delivery models.
Proficiency in planning and executing complex programs using tracking tools like ALM or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of project governance, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
Experience working in global delivery models and managing distributed teams.
Technical background or exposure to engineering practices is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills
PMP / Prince2 certification is mandatory or in progress.
Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and business expectations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Flexible, outcome-oriented, and able to adapt in a dynamic environment.
