Job Summary:
To test software code as per the work allocated, ensuring it meets quality standards and client expectations. The role requires a sound understanding of embedded systems, testing practices, and collaboration with both internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and review test cases based on the Functional Specifications and Software Requirement Specification (SRS) documents.
Execute functional testing according to the defined test plan and test cases.
Contribute to the development of test plans as per the assigned scope of work.
Track key testing metrics like test coverage and defect density, and publish regular progress reports.
Coordinate with team members for discussions and interact with the client for project updates.
Skill Requirements:
Strong understanding of Embedded Networking testing methodologies.
Experience or working knowledge of SAN (Storage Area Network) and SCSI (Small Computer System Interface).
Proficiency in C++ for understanding and analyzing embedded system code.
Familiarity with standard testing procedures, tools, and metrics.
Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):
ISTQB Certified Tester
Embedded Systems Testing Certification
