Responsibilities & Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience with ITSM solutions in an enterprise environment.
At least 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer (development & implementation).
Experience in creating ServiceNow modules, applications, catalog items, and workflows.
Proficient in client and server-side JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs, including Scripted Web Services, AJAX, Business Rules, SOAP, REST, and Script Includes.
Skilled in Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML setup, and integration of ServiceNow with other applications.
Experience with system integration using web technologies like XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.
Self-motivated and experienced in dynamic, fast-paced technical environments.
Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities with on-time project delivery.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, firewalls, and network protocols.
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to influence stakeholders in a consultative manner.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules:
Incident ManagementAbility to extend the ServiceNow schema for custom applications.
Exposure to ServiceNow platform tools like Discovery and Orchestration.
Understands both technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.
Capable of creating and managing scripts and workflows.
Experience in one or more scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell.
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle.
Strong grasp of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB concepts.
Capable of customizing ServiceNow UI using UI Pages, Macros, and CMS with CSS, HTML, and Jelly.
Experienced with DOM manipulation and HTML-based UI changes.
Exposure to Identity Management and Active Directory integrations.
Experience with ServiceNow cloning and version upgrades.
Experience with creating and enhancing knowledge base (KB) articles.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to understand and adapt to complex business needs.
Quick learner of new technologies related to the ServiceNow platform.
ITIL v3/v4 certification or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in customization and configuration of ServiceNow, including:
ScriptingParticipates in user story and requirement gathering sessions.
Works from interface definitions to final design and implementation.
Collaborates with developers to ensure design quality and functionality.
