SOC Analyst – Chennai (SIEM & Social Engineering)
Job Overview
We are seeking a SOC Analyst with expertise in SIEM tools and social engineering to strengthen our security posture. This role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats while conducting social engineering simulations to identify human vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Engineering Simulations: Conduct phishing, pretexting, and baiting assessments to test security awareness.
- SIEM Monitoring & Analysis: Configure and use SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to track and analyze security events.
- Incident Response: Investigate social engineering threats, trace origins, and provide remediation strategies.
- Penetration Testing: Integrate social engineering into red team exercises and penetration testing.
- Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver training programs to improve employee security awareness.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen cybersecurity defenses.
Qualifications & Skills
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SIEM tools, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Certifications: CEH, OSCP, or SIEM-specific certifications (Preferred).
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to analyze threats and educate teams on security best practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Preferred).
- Experience: Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and social engineering techniques (Preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Up to ₹2.16 LPA.
- Work Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai (In-person role).
