Job Description:
Laya Tech Pvt Ltd is looking for a SOC Analyst with expertise in SIEM tools and social engineering techniques to enhance the organization’s security posture. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and behavioral insights to identify and address human vulnerabilities, conduct social engineering simulations, and monitor security events in real-time using SIEM platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Engineering Simulations: Conduct phishing, pretexting, baiting, and other assessments to identify human vulnerabilities in the organization.
- SIEM Monitoring and Analysis: Configure and use SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to social engineering and security events in real-time.
- Incident Response: Investigate incidents, trace the origins, and recommend strategies for remediation based on SIEM data.
- Penetration Testing: Integrate social engineering techniques into penetration tests and red team exercises.
- Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver training to help employees identify and avoid social engineering attacks.
- Reporting and Insights: Provide actionable recommendations to improve security, focusing on human and technical factors.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SIEM tools, cybersecurity principles, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Certifications: CEH, OSCP, or SIEM-specific certifications are highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience with social engineering techniques and SIEM platforms.
- Understanding of human behavior and its impact on cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
