Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2+ years of software development experience, with at least 1 year shipping scalable, cloud-native distributed systems.
Proficient in high-level programming languages, preferably Go and Java.
Good knowledge of scripting languages like Python.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team through the complete product life cycle.
Experience with microservice design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols.
Skilled in developing highly reliable services.
Understanding of service metrics, alarms, and development of dashboards, KPIs, and alarming systems.
Strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and programming paradigms.
Experience with production operations, best practices for quality code deployment, and troubleshooting production issues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams, and presentations.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of engineers to define, design, and deliver platforms using latest Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technologies.
Understand broad system interactions, be hands-on, and dive deep into any part of the stack as needed.
Value simplicity and impact, work comfortably in a collaborative and agile environment, and maintain eagerness to learn.
Develop and operate high-scale, resilient cloud services.
Balance speed and quality through iterative and incremental improvements.
