Job Summary

As a Software Developer at Veeda Clinical Research Limited, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our clinical research operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.

• Requirement Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, and clinical research teams, to gather and analyze software requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.

• System Integration:

  • Integrate software applications with existing systems and third-party APIs.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between different software modules and systems.

• Testing and Debugging:

  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other automated tests to ensure software quality.

• Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including technical specifications, user manuals, and release notes.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to enhance software performance, usability, and scalability.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide project updates and address any issues.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science or Information Technology.

• Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the clinical research or healthcare industry.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with web development frameworks and technologies such as Angular, React, or ASP.NET.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL databases).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
