Dell Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer 2 – IT to join its high-performance IT team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize automation and deployment pipelines using modern DevOps tools and cloud-native technologies. You will work on mission-critical systems, driving quality, performance, and innovation across Dell’s IT infrastructure.
Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Groovy.
Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and YAML configurations.
Deploy and manage microservices using Docker, Kaniko, and Kubernetes.
Implement infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform.
Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
Troubleshoot deployment and integration issues with a focus on performance and scalability.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy).
Proficient in Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipeline creation.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
Familiarity with tools like GitLab, Ansible, and Terraform.
Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Strong problem-solving skills and deployment troubleshooting experience.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of infrastructure optimization and microservice-based architectures.
Solid understanding of secure coding and DevOps best practices.
