Role Overview:
Dell Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to join its PowerScale Engineering Development team in Bangalore. PowerScale is a Gartner-recognized leader in Unstructured Data Storage. In this role, you will be instrumental in the modernization of our storage architecture, contributing to the development of scalable, disaggregated systems built to meet the demands of the GenAI era.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and development of complex systems and storage environments.
Review and evaluate software/storage specifications.
Develop and implement test strategies for software and storage products.
Collaborate effectively within a Scrum team to deliver quality solutions.
Align development with customer requirements and business goals.
Technical Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in C/C++/Python programming.
Experience in software development for Unix/Linux/BSD operating systems (user space level).
Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and storage networking protocols.
Proficiency with Agile Scrum development methodologies.
Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
