Job Description:
Dell Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer 1 to join the Data Protection Software Engineering (DPSE) team in Pune. This role involves developing next-generation data protection products for modern IT environments spanning On-Prem, Public Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop enterprise-level software solutions aligned with business needs and customer goals.
Contribute to the architecture of scalable and high-performance storage and software systems.
Collaborate with product teams to evaluate and implement detailed software specifications.
Develop and execute test strategies to ensure product reliability, quality, and maintainability.
Focus on feature implementation that enhances device manageability and platform serviceability.
Candidate Requirements:
0 to 2 years of experience in full-stack development or C++/Java-based enterprise product development.
Strong understanding of operating systems and system-level programming.
Proficient in solving complex technical problems with a structured and logical approach.
Experience working on application development aligned to business use cases.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments involving multi-vendor tools.
Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI (GenAI), and prompt engineering methodologies.
