Role Summary
As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and debug modern web applications that enhance our software platform for the oil and gas sector. You will play a key role in delivering intuitive, performant, and responsive user interfaces that meet industry-grade requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop front-end components for new products and software enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize front-end applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Translate business and user requirements into responsive, high-quality front-end solutions.
Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
Develop tools and utilities to support internal development and automation.
Ensure hardware compatibility and contribute feedback to influence hardware/software integration.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of front-end technologies and frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong experience in front-end development using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience working with REST APIs, UI testing tools, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Domain knowledge in oil & gas or industrial automation (preferred, not mandatory).
