Job Overview
This role focuses on the design, development, debugging, and enhancement of front-end software for industrial automation products.
The position involves working on both new software features and improving existing systems.
You will be involved in building tools, utilities, and components that enable better performance and usability of Sensia’s digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop front-end components for web-based applications used in the oil and gas industry.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
Enhance current products by identifying improvement areas and implementing changes.
Work closely with hardware teams to ensure compatibility and performance optimization.
Participate in architecture discussions and help influence system design decisions.
Maintain coding standards and documentation for developed solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product owners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in front-end development using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design practices.
Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
Knowledge of build tools and version control systems like Webpack, Git, etc.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with industrial automation platforms or working in energy sector technologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Exposure to backend technologies is a plus.
