Develop and integrate advanced routing products used by top-tier service providers.
Collaborate across Cisco’s technical community to design next-generation network infrastructure.
Mentor team members while contributing to cutting-edge technology innovation.
Architect, design, and build platforms for service providers, web centers, and enterprise-grade routers.
Evolve Cisco’s routing systems to meet new customer and market demands.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales, Support, and Marketing.
Strong proficiency in C programming and working knowledge of Python.
Deep experience in Unix/Linux development environments.
Expertise in debugging, automation, and clean coding practices.
Familiarity with hardware components like PCI, PCIe, DMA, I2C, SPI, NPUs/DPUs, and processors (x86, AMD, ARM).
Experience with board bring-up is a plus.
Awareness or hands-on experience with modern technologies like AI/ML and cloud computing.
7 to 12 years of experience in embedded firmware or system software development.
Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS in CS, EE, IT, ECE, or MCA.
Ability to follow and derive technical standards into robust software design and implementation.
Solid understanding of software and system architecture.
Experience in building networking or routing software solutions is highly valued.
