About the Role
UKG is hiring Software Engineer I for fresh graduates who are passionate about innovation and eager to begin a fulfilling software development career in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for software applications and systems.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in debugging, testing, and optimizing applications to ensure reliability and performance.
Engage in continuous learning through workshops, code reviews, and staying current with trends.
Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Conceptual understanding of front-end/back-end components and microservices architecture.
Willingness to adapt and grow with changing technology and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Internship experience in software development or related areas.
Familiarity with
Basic understanding of web technologies, databases, and cloud platforms.
