Job Summary
PayU is looking for a skilled and passionate Software Engineer to join our dynamic, high-performing development team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure software systems. You’ll work in an Agile environment, solve complex technical problems, and help deliver cutting-edge fintech solutions on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
Write, test, and debug high-quality code using programming languages such as Java or Python.
Design and develop scalable software architecture and user experience prototypes.
Conduct automated and manual testing to identify and resolve bugs and ensure software quality.
Manage software releases through CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Maintain and enhance existing software applications by fixing bugs and implementing performance improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputed institution.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in software development engineering.
Proficiency in at least one OOP-focused language like Java; experience with Python is a plus.
Solid understanding of CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
Strong experience working in AWS scalable environments.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and designing scalable services.
Proficient in RDBMS (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Understanding of software design principles, especially MVC architecture.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present ideas clearly.
