Team – Digital Success Engineering
The Digital Success Engineering team consists of software engineers, architects, and engineering managers building Unified Self-Service Experiences for Salesforce users. Acting as “customer zero,” we use Salesforce technologies internally to set the standard for innovation and Trailblazer success.
Role Summary
As a Lead Member of Technical Staff (LMTS), you will architect and drive the development of expert human + agent AI experiences using Agentforce, DataCloud, and other Salesforce platform services. You will own the architecture lifecycle from concept to production while collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape the future of customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions across the unified platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify user pain points and innovation opportunities.
Define and document architecture for Agentforce implementations and integrations.
Provide expertise in Salesforce Agentforce capabilities and best practices.
Stay up-to-date on Salesforce AI advancements and integrate new features into designs.
Use pre-trained LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Falcon) with prompt engineering and RLHF.
Build and maintain datasets for LLM training, tuning, and evaluation.
Act as liaison between product, engineering, and external partners.
Write high-quality code and collaborate closely with Product Managers and UX teams.
Define the architectural landscape, identify gaps, and deliver comprehensive solutions.
Mentor and support junior developers and architects in tools, techniques, and decisions.
Apply agile practices including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Translate business problems into AI-based technical solutions.
Establish governance frameworks ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant systems.
Lead custom development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and more.
Continuously assess and optimize system performance, resolving issues proactively.
Professional Experience & Required Skills
12+ years of total software engineering experience.
8+ years in Salesforce architecture and platform implementation.
Agentforce implementation experience (preferred).
5+ years in ML engineering or AI systems development.
Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
Experience working with LLMs and prompt engineering.
Analytical mindset with ability to apply data-driven decision-making.
Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD automation tools.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional and technical teams.
Experience building scalable Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum methodologies, and related tools.
Deep understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
