Software Qa Test Engineer

Job Summary

Medpace is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a dedicated full-time Software QA Test Engineer (Validation Engineer) to join our expanding Information Technology (IT) team at our Mumbai office. This office-based role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll contribute to ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with developers and end users throughout the software lifecycle to ensure applications meet user needs.
• Testing Methodologies: Perform testing using various methodologies, including manual, exploratory, and automated testing.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and other documentation for projects.
• Peer Review: Participate in the constructive review of test cases with peers.
• Defect Management: Identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Requirement Analysis: Review, analyze, and enhance requirement specifications to ensure 100% test coverage.
• Acceptance Testing: Assist in the execution of acceptance test scripts by end users.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing, preferably in an agile-like environment.
• Testing Skills: Experience in manual testing of complex software applications; automated testing experience is a plus.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-departmental teams, including software developers, department leads, and end users.
• Skills: Strong computer skills with excellent analytical, written, and oral communication abilities.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the regulated healthcare industry is a plus.
