Job Summary
Cognizant is hiring a seasoned Technical Lead with deep expertise in Generative AI, Python, Spark, Scala, AWS, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading AI-driven initiatives, building scalable applications, and managing technical teams in a fast-paced enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and deployment of Generative AI models to solve complex business problems.
Architect and optimize Python-based applications for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and data-driven solutions into business systems.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and peers.
Enforce best practices in software development for clean, maintainable, and scalable codebases.
Perform rigorous testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Analyze large datasets to extract insights that influence strategic decisions.
Stay updated with trends in AI, Spark, Scala, and Python technologies to drive innovation.
Document AI models and software solutions for knowledge sharing and audits.
Liaise with business stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver aligned technical solutions.
Implement secure development and deployment practices to protect data and ensure compliance.
Improve performance and reduce cost through optimized Spark Scala pipelines and AWS services.
Conduct technical training and workshops on Python, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience in building and deploying Generative AI models.
Proficiency in Python programming with experience in developing scalable ML and data solutions.
Hands-on experience with Spark, Scala, AWS (Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.), and SQL.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a background in agile methodologies.
Experience designing and implementing MLOps workflows and data pipelines.
In-depth understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
