Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Business Systems Analyst to join our Clinical Research Group’s IT organization. This key role involves collaborating with System and Solution Architects to drive groundbreaking data and digital initiatives. You will be instrumental in gathering requirements, mapping processes, documenting findings, and coordinating projects across various divisions. Your work will support system integrations, requirement specifications, gap analyses, and workflow definitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Author clear and effective business requirements documents. Facilitate workshops to capture requirements and brainstorm solutions.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze data sources, map data elements to business requirements, and identify areas for process improvement.

  • Project Coordination: Support the Technology Solutions team with project coordination activities. Communicate status updates to stakeholders, including executives and team members.

  • Consultation & Improvement: Consult with business users to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements.

  • Compliance & Communication: Ensure adherence to Global IT Policies & Procedures. Maintain effective communication with diverse groups across geographical regions.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Deliver clear, timely updates to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Skills:

    1. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
    2. Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders and set clear expectations.
    3. Experience in writing business requirement documents and mapping data elements.
    4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Experience:

    1. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate is advantageous.
    2. Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Microsoft Copilot M365 is a plus.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field.

  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in developing/supporting applications, data management, and business reporting.
