Job Opportunity: IT Analyst - Problem Management

Job Profile Summary:
As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for the Problem Management process, focusing on identifying, analyzing, and resolving underlying issues causing incidents. This role is critical for ensuring the quality and integrity of the IT service management process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Problem Management process and collaborate with other process coordinators.
  • Diagnose the root cause of chronic or undetermined incidents using methodologies like 5 Whys.
  • Determine permanent resolutions and implement them through appropriate control procedures (Change Management).
  • Maintain a Known Error Database, including information on problems, workarounds, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day execution of Problem Management and chair Problem Review meetings.
  • Ensure timely response to each Problem Ticket, following the escalation path as needed.
  • Perform process administration and manage Problem templates and reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.
  • Facilitate resource commitment and allocation for problem resolution.
