Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express, StrongLoop).
- Understand asynchronous programming and implement effective workarounds.
- Utilize server-side templating languages (e.g., Jade, EJS) and CSS preprocessors (e.g., Stylus, Less).
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and security standards.
- Manage user authentication and authorization across systems.
- Integrate multiple data sources and databases into cohesive applications.
- Apply fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
- Optimize applications for various delivery platforms, including mobile and desktop.
- Design database schemas that support business processes.
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Utilize version control systems, particularly Git.
