Associate - Sas Programmer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Team Lead-BS with 4 to 5 years of experience in SAS, including SAS/STAT, SAS Data Management, and Base SAS. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Statistical Programming, preferably with experience in Biostatistics. This role involves leading a team to successfully execute statistical programming tasks that contribute to impactful projects benefiting society.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of statistical programmers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
• Oversee the development and validation of SAS programs for data analysis and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on SAS, including SAS/STAT, SAS Data Management, and Base SAS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines in all statistical programming activities.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for statistical programming tasks.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or challenges that arise.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of statistical outputs.
• Facilitate training sessions and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of statistical programming processes and methodologies.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Participate in the review and approval of statistical analysis plans and reports.
• Support the implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance statistical programming capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in SAS, including SAS/STAT, SAS Data Management, and Base SAS.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Statistical Programming.
• Experience in Biostatistics is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in developing and validating SAS programs.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Certifications Required

• SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9
• SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9
