Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Lead – Cloud Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Django, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), and Web Development. In this role, you’ll be leading cloud automation efforts and supporting in-house tool development, driving optimization, compliance, and CI/CD for scalable cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automated cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Python and APIs.
Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructure across multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
Provide support and development for internal tools including web pages using Django, HTML, CSS, PHP, and MariaDB.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and ensure secure, efficient code delivery.
Ensure infrastructure security and compliance in collaboration with IT and governance teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and security to align solutions with business goals.
Handle incidents and tasks through ServiceNow and ensure SLA compliance.
Monitor infrastructure performance and suggest improvements proactively.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into infrastructure strategies.
Lead documentation for infrastructure automation and contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in Python, Django, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, PHP).
Experience with MariaDB or similar relational databases.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including APIs for provisioning and scaling.
Strong experience in infrastructure automation, scripting, and DevOps methodologies.
Solid grasp of operating systems (Linux/Unix), command-line interfaces, and automation frameworks.
Understanding of CI/CD tools and DevOps pipelines.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure systems.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Good communication (verbal/written) and collaborative skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.
Must be a proactive self-starter with attention to detail and creative thinking.
Flexibility to work in UK shift or 24x7 shifts if required.
