Provide support for Oracle database environments, including incident resolution and performance optimization.
Independently handle escalated tickets and ensure resolution within defined SLAs.
Perform Oracle database software installations and create new databases.
Manage database users, profiles, roles, and permissions.
Oversee space management and perform regular backups/restores using RMAN.
Handle export/import using Oracle DataPump and support DataGuard configurations.
Execute database migrations and version upgrades.
Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and enhance system reliability.
Collaborate on documentation, knowledge base updates, and team mentoring.
Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.
Strong knowledge of Oracle RMAN, DataPump, and DataGuard.
Experience in user and space management, performance tuning, and upgrades.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Familiarity with AWS for database management is a plus.
Additional experience with MS SQL Server is an advantage.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Related Technical Field
2.5–5 years in Oracle database administration with enterprise-level environments.
