Job Description:
Dell Technologies delivers exceptional service beyond product purchase, with a dedicated Technical Support team assisting customers via phone, email, online, and social media.
The team resolves complex installation, configuration, customization, and operational issues and provides remote diagnostic support for critical matters.
As a Technical Support Engineer 2, you will work on Dell's Product Services team, solving advanced technical issues in a high-pressure, enterprise customer-facing environment.
You will collaborate closely with L2 and L3 support across hardware and OS layers to improve service delivery and engineering feedback loops.
Key Responsibilities:
Join a 24x7 high-complexity technical team supporting enterprise customers.
Resolve complex technical issues related to Dell Enterprise Servers.
Work in collaboration with L2 and L3 teams, providing engineering feedback on supported products.
Continuously stay updated with new enterprise technologies through structured training and skill-building programs.
Enhance support services by identifying and contributing to process and standard improvements.
Essential Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical support role.
Strong work ethic, professional interpersonal skills, and telephone communication etiquette.
Excellent problem-solving and logical troubleshooting abilities.
Solid understanding of hardware, motherboard architecture, RAID concepts, and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or ESXi.
Desirable Requirements:
Certifications related to server support (e.g., Server+, PowerEdge Associate).
Certifications in operating systems.
