Job Description:
Dell Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our Product Services team in Bangalore. This role focuses on delivering high-quality support for enterprise server systems while working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide advanced technical support for Dell enterprise servers, focusing on installation, configuration, diagnostics, and issue resolution.

  2. Operate within a 24x7 support model, handling customer queries through phone, email, and remote sessions.

  3. Collaborate closely with L2 and L3 engineering teams to analyze complex hardware and software issues.

  4. Communicate technical feedback and product improvement suggestions to the engineering and development teams.

  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of server platforms and enterprise IT systems through continuous training.

  6. Contribute to process improvements, documentation standards, and quality assurance practices.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical support or enterprise IT role.

  3. Strong understanding of server hardware architecture, RAID configuration, and motherboard components.

  4. Proficiency in Windows, Linux, or VMware ESXi operating systems.

  5. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  6. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and in rotational shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Dell PowerEdge Associate, or relevant OS certifications.

  2. Prior experience working in enterprise-level server support or hardware diagnostics.
