Technical Support Engineer Job in India | Up to 50% Remote | Microsoft Azure & Security Support

Job Summary

Join Microsoft’s elite Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) team as a Technical Support Engineer focused on Azure Cloud and Microsoft security products. Empower customers by delivering world-class technical support, resolving complex security issues, and enhancing their business value through innovative Microsoft technologies. This role offers flexible hybrid work with up to 50% remote work from India-based locations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Own and resolve customer technical issues related to Azure Cloud security and Microsoft Defender products.

  2. Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and solve mission-critical problems with a customer-first mindset.

  3. Build knowledge communities and share best practices with peers to enhance team readiness.

  4. Identify product defects and contribute to Microsoft product/process improvements through feedback and escalation.

  5. Communicate technical solutions clearly, ensuring customers maximize their Microsoft investment.

  6. Participate in continuous training to develop advanced technical and professional skills.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ years of technical support/consulting or IT experience

  2. OR 3+ years of equivalent technical support or IT experience

  3. Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)

  4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail

  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines with excellent organizational skills

  6. Passion for customer success and continuous learning

Preferred Experience (added advantage):

  1. Working knowledge of System Center Endpoint Protection, Azure Antimalware

  2. Experience with Windows Defender and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (ATP)
