Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Technology Specialist (React JS Developer) to join our high-performance team at Cognizant. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript (ES5/ES6), React JS, and Redux.
Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and backend developers to create seamless features.
Optimize code for maximum performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
Guide and mentor junior developers with technical support and code walkthroughs.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of agile ceremonies.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs across the application stack.
Translate business needs into technical solutions through regular stakeholder collaboration.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, data protection, and regulatory norms.
Stay updated with React ecosystem trends, tooling, and front-end frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8–12 years of hands-on experience with React JS, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES5/ES6).
Solid domain expertise in Life and Annuities Insurance.
Proficient in UI/UX best practices and frontend architecture.
Experience working in hybrid or agile development environments.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
