Role Overview
Mastercard’s Priceless Platform is looking for a Test Automation Manager to lead a team of QA engineers and advance the automation, performance, and reliability of high-scale digital commerce solutions. This role combines hands-on technical implementation with leadership responsibilities, delivering quality solutions in a cloud-native, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of 5+ QA engineers focused on test automation and infrastructure reliability.
Implement hands-on test automation, performance testing, and infrastructure automation solutions.
Design and build test frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines across multi-language platforms.
Drive SRE practices including chaos engineering, progressive rollout, and DevOps collaboration.
Work on system observability including monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
Develop playbooks for incident response and post-mortem analysis.
Shape platform scalability and performance via load testing and optimization.
Manage test environments, test data, and infrastructure components.
Ensure team-wide adherence to technical quality, security, and reliability standards.
Participate in 24/7 support rotations for critical systems.
Technical Requirements
9+ years of experience in test automation, mobile testing, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms.
Strong experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools, performance testing, and monitoring systems.
Familiarity with deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, and feature flagging.
Experience with logging, alerting, and observability tools in production environments.
Strong understanding of scripting and automation for test and infrastructure orchestration.
Exposure to SRE metrics, production readiness, and continuous testing pipelines.
Experience leading design/code reviews and driving testing strategy and quality improvements.
Familiarity with regulated environments and secure coding/deployment standards.
