Role Title: US Tax Advanced Analyst - Partnership - Hedge Funds/Private Equity

Position Overview:
As an Advanced Analyst, you will be expected to continuously learn and grow within the role. Your main responsibility will be to validate client data, study cash flow, portfolio, and financial data provided by clients, and prepare various financial statements for tax filings. This role requires the ability to translate tax knowledge into clear, actionable solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
  • Understand the concepts of Partnership, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity.
  • Gain proficiency in Form 1065 and related forms and schedules.
  • Review documents for tax return and work paper preparation.
  • Manage assigned tasks through the full process, ensuring timely completion.
  • Identify potential issues and ask relevant questions for resolution.
  • Interpret and transfer client data accurately to work papers and tax software.
  • Follow Ernst & Young’s compliance procedures.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Basic knowledge of Go System and One Source Income Tax.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and statistical skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and web-based applications.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player who thrives under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CA-Inter/ICWAI-Inter (Desirable).
  • CPA/EA (Pursuing or completed) is a plus.
  • 0-3 years of experience in accounting or tax-related fields (Freshers are welcome).

Ideally, You Will Also Have:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply tax legislation using tools and platforms.
