Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Implement best engineering management and organizational development practices as Salesforce continues to scale.
Build, mentor, and retain world-class engineers and managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Develop organizational capability through recruiting outstanding talent, and providing training and professional growth opportunities.
Represent the Cloud organization in senior leadership forums and establish strong cross-functional relationships across local functions.
Drive continuous improvement in systems for managing, documenting, staffing, and reviewing engineering projects and services.
Guide and mentor team members to achieve peak performance, while being ready to get hands-on when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of overall experience with at least 10 years in hands-on software development management.
Proven track record in engineering leadership delivering world-class software products and features.
Experience in cross-functional 2nd or 3rd level management roles within large organizations.
Expertise in building strong technical teams and coaching individuals for career growth.
Ability to represent operational issues at senior leadership levels and deep dive into technical details when required.
Strong prioritization and communication skills to steer high-performing teams in a rapidly changing environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields.
Highly Desirable
Experience with Enterprise B2B software and CRM platforms, especially Salesforce.
Software engineering or equivalent technical background—comfortable with detailed technical conversations and making strategic tradeoffs.
Experience with internationalization and localization for serving global user bases.
