We are seeking an experienced Wi-Fi Systems Validation Architect to drive validation strategy and execution for Intel's next-gen Wi-Fi solutions (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7). You will work across software and hardware teams to architect and lead comprehensive validation frameworks, ensuring the highest standards of quality, interoperability, and real-world performance. This strategic role demands deep technical expertise and leadership to shape Intel's wireless product success globally.
Define, architect, and lead system-level validation strategies for Intel's Wi-Fi solutions.
Collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, test, and product teams to ensure thorough test coverage and high-quality deliverables.
Architect complex test environments simulating real-world use cases, including traffic loads, interference, and client diversity.
Debug and analyze Wi-Fi issues using tools like Omnipeek, Wireshark, and IxChariot.
Review and enhance test plans, performance benchmarking methods, and stress testing setups.
Identify and resolve design gaps, and suggest corrective actions in collaboration with R&D teams.
Champion best practices in system validation and continuously evolve methodologies to align with emerging technologies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputed institute.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Architect.
10+ years of experience in Wi-Fi system validation, development, and debugging.
Deep knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi Alliance certification processes.
Strong debugging and problem-solving experience in Wi-Fi domain.
Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi chipsets, access points, routers, and client architecture.
Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark, AirMagnet), and network simulation tools.
Skilled in automation frameworks like Python and Robot Framework.
Solid understanding of system-level performance testing and benchmarking.
Experience with tools like Git, Gerrit, and similar configuration management systems.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor engineering teams.
Effective cross-functional collaboration in multi-geo and multi-discipline teams.
Strong communication skills for presenting technical content to diverse stakeholders.
High level of self-motivation, adaptability, and continuous learning mindset.
Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach.
