Primary Responsibilities

  1. Develop core embedded software for the latest generation of Intel’s Wi-Fi silicon chips.

  2. Work on Windows Wi-Fi Drivers based on IEEE 802.11 standards, covering Wi-Fi 7 and previous generations.

  3. Design, develop, analyze, debug, optimize, integrate, test, and validate Windows Wi-Fi driver software.

  4. Translate system/architectural/customer-defined requirements into low-level design.

  5. Implement and test driver functionality both on simulation hosts and actual Wi-Fi hardware.

  6. Debug issues on both target hardware and host environments.

  7. Enhance driver stability by developing new test scenarios and increasing test coverage.


Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s (BS/BTech) or Master’s (MS/MTech) in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.

  2. 3 to 7 years of industry experience in C programming and software development.

  3. Strong debugging skills with a solid foundation in C programming.

  4. Good proficiency in Python scripting.

  5. Ability to break down high-level requirements into low-level designs, implementations, and unit tests.

  6. Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools such as Git and Gerrit.

  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  8. Ability to work collaboratively with global, cross-functional teams.

  9. Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong drive to adapt to the evolving wireless ecosystem.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in Windows Kernel Device Driver development.

  2. Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) protocols and standards.

  3. Background in networking technologies.

  4. Prior experience in working with wireless communication stacks and hardware-software co-design.
