Develop core embedded software for the latest generation of Intel’s Wi-Fi silicon chips.
Work on Windows Wi-Fi Drivers based on IEEE 802.11 standards, covering Wi-Fi 7 and previous generations.
Design, develop, analyze, debug, optimize, integrate, test, and validate Windows Wi-Fi driver software.
Translate system/architectural/customer-defined requirements into low-level design.
Implement and test driver functionality both on simulation hosts and actual Wi-Fi hardware.
Debug issues on both target hardware and host environments.
Enhance driver stability by developing new test scenarios and increasing test coverage.
Bachelor’s (BS/BTech) or Master’s (MS/MTech) in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
3 to 7 years of industry experience in C programming and software development.
Strong debugging skills with a solid foundation in C programming.
Good proficiency in Python scripting.
Ability to break down high-level requirements into low-level designs, implementations, and unit tests.
Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools such as Git and Gerrit.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with global, cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong drive to adapt to the evolving wireless ecosystem.
Experience in Windows Kernel Device Driver development.
Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) protocols and standards.
Background in networking technologies.
Prior experience in working with wireless communication stacks and hardware-software co-design.
