Opportunity Overview:

ZeroFox is looking for an enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our expanding Business Intelligence team. In this role, you'll support analytics needs across the organization, working with various teams and leadership to help shape self-service analytics and foster a data-driven culture. You will also play a key role in driving quality assurance and ensuring data accuracy. Your work will empower the team to leverage analytics for informed decision-making. Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytics requirements.
Design and develop dashboards that support key business decisions.
Define key business metrics (KPIs) and maintain a data dictionary.
Work alongside Business Intelligence Analysts and Engineers to model data in a scalable way.
Triage and prioritize analytics requests from various teams.
Analyze large datasets with attention to detail and accuracy.
Develop your skills in data storytelling, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrate curiosity and analytical thinking to explore solutions and ask the critical question: "Why?"
Take ownership of your work with minimal supervision, identifying opportunities and delivering results on time.
Train end-users on newly developed reports and dashboards.
Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure clear communication across departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1+ years of analytics experience from at least one full-time role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with tools like Postgres, BigQuery, and Excel.
Solid understanding of statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, experimentation logic, and data normalization techniques.
Experience developing and documenting data models.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Curiosity, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.
Background and foundational knowledge in databases and the ETL process.

Nice to Have:

Experience with modern BI tools like Apache Superset, Data Studio, Tableau, or GoodData.
Familiarity with Salesforce and Zendesk for building reports and dashboards.
Experience in self-service analytics design.
Experience leading small teams or managing projects.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis.
