As an Analyst - Financial Controller at Barclays, you'll play a key role in shaping our financial landscape. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS).
- Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, reporting these risks to senior colleagues.
- Develop and maintain a robust internal control system to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial data.
- Design and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate financial systems with enterprise applications.
- Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

Basic/Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant – CA/CS
- Strong academic background with 1st class honors, minimum bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution
- Fresher or Post-qualification experience of 1 year
- Experience in month-end or quarter-end focused reporting or a finance automation skillset
- Knowledge of accounting principles under IFRS
- Strong Excel skills

- Good stakeholder engagement and understanding of their requirements
- Knowledge of automation tools
