Role Overview:
As a Data Analyst at FedEx, you will design and implement processes for analyzing a variety of data sets used for data mining and business analysis. You will extract insights from both structured and unstructured data to support informed business decisions, leveraging current and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical expert on complex subjects and support management with data analysis and interpretation.
• Import, clean, transform, and validate data from RDBMS (Oracle, Teradata) for decision-making.
• Utilize statistical techniques to answer business questions and improve key success metrics.
• Produce reports, graphs, summaries, and presentations to convey analytic results aligned with business needs.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for timely and relevant reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Statistics. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in analytics, informatics, and statistics.
• SAS programming experience, including SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Enterprise Miner.
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Azure Databricks).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and HTML.
• Exposure to BI and visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, or D3.js.
