Position: Data Analyst – Central Pricing (Revenue & Growth)
Location: Bangalore
About the Team
The team shapes demand on the platform through pricing and promotional levers while considering the platform's PnL. The team works on daily pricing and promotional offers, ensuring topline and bottom line targets are met. Coordination with internal and other stakeholders is essential for daily pricing operations, along with analyzing platform-level metrics to identify problems and strength areas to optimize ROI.
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor Key Metrics:
Revenue per unit
Gross margin
Provisioning liquidation
Conversion rates
Average order value
Customer acquisition
Top performing styles
Campaign Analysis:
Collaborate with the analytics team to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Evaluate and improve future campaign performance
Financial Liaison:
Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate P&L reporting for the portfolio
Discount Reconciliation:
Reconcile discounts with brand associates for funding of sale day properties
Competitive Analysis:
Monitor discounting and pricing for key brands on other portals to ensure parity
Preempt customer switching
Trend Analysis:
Analyze trends in inventory, revenue, stock cover, and the impact of marketing initiatives
Conduct sales forecasting and trend analysis
Stakeholder Influence:
Influence various teams and stakeholders within the organization to meet goals and project timelines
Process Setup:
Establish reporting processes for operational streamlining
Innovation:
Develop and innovate strong analysis and trends to shape new dimensions of pricing
