We are looking for a MERN Stack Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for building scalable, efficient, and responsive web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The ideal candidate must have strong backend and frontend skills, cloud deployment knowledge, and experience working on SaaS products and US-based projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop scalable full-stack applications using MERN Stack
Convert UX designs into functional front-end interfaces with React.js
Participate in system and technical architecture design discussions
Build robust backend services and business logic using RESTful or GraphQL APIs
Design efficient algorithms for different system modules
Develop secure and scalable databases using MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
Collaborate with engineers on POCs and technical brainstorming
Estimate development efforts with Product Managers and Engineering Leads
Perform software testing for performance and responsiveness
Write unit tests to ensure code robustness and stability
Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Postgraduate degree is a plus)
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Hands-on experience with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript
Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, SQS, SES, Lambda
Understanding of Docker and containerized application development is a plus
Must have experience working directly with US-based clients
Exposure to different business models and multiple project types
Experience with SaaS product development is an advantage
Familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks like Next.js or React Native (Expo) is desirable
Preferred Skills:
Proficient in writing modular, scalable code using Git and CI/CD practices
Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native systems
Good understanding of authentication and security best practices in web applications
Agile methodology experience and working in a fast-paced environment
