Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in Django and Flask frameworks. In this role, you will be a key player in developing and maintaining our core web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will work closely with product managers and designers to implement new features and optimize existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Web Application Development: Develop web-based applications using Python, Django, and JavaScript.
- Design and Leadership: Design, document, and implement significant parts of the management application, providing leadership and guidance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product management, development teams, QA, and documentation to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Agile Development: Apply Agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Innovation and Technical Discussions: Participate in technical discussions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the product.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering teams across different geographical locations.
- Mentoring: Lead and mentor junior engineers and small engineering groups.
Required Key Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software development.
- Framework Expertise: Proficiency in Python frameworks, preferably Django or Flask.
- JavaScript Skills: Strong expertise in JavaScript programming and object-oriented concepts.
- Web Development: Extensive experience in HTML/DHTML/CSS Web 2.0 development and working with high-fidelity mockups.
- GUI Applications: Proven experience in developing enterprise and commercial web-based GUI applications.
- MVC Frameworks: Knowledge of rapid development frameworks such as Django.
- Debugging: In-depth experience in JavaScript debugging and class writing.
- Client Interaction: Experience in client-facing roles is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
