Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled HTML Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and effective website layouts based on templates provided in Photoshop, Figma, or XD. You will be responsible for developing responsive web designs that adhere to various screen resolutions and integrating these designs into functional HTML and CSS files. Your work will enable web developers to build robust websites and applications.
Responsibilities:
HTML Development: Create high-quality HTML files in compliance with HTML5 and W3C standards.
CSS Styling: Use CSS, including preprocessors like Less and Sass, to develop web application and app layouts that match design specifications across different screen resolutions.
Accessibility: Implement ARIA and other HTML attributes to ensure accessibility options are supported.
Validation: Utilize W3C Markup Validation Service and CSS Validation Service to ensure all layouts meet W3C standards.
WordPress Integration: Integrate designs into WordPress, ensuring compatibility and responsiveness.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to lead projects to successful completion.
Knowledge Maintenance: Stay updated with the latest WordPress developments and features.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
HTML/CSS Expertise: Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, with experience using CSS tools and frameworks such as Bootstrap, MaterialUI, and Semantic UI.
Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS, Angular, PHP, and web APIs is a plus.
CSS Preprocessors: Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass and Less.
WordPress Experience: Proficiency in the WordPress platform, with hands-on experience with the latest versions and features.
Design Tools: Familiarity with Photoshop, Figma, and other image-editing software.
Communication Skills: Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Project Management: Capability to handle and manage projects, with experience leading or coordinating teams.
Additional Skills: Integration of designs into React/Angular, and knowledge of React styled components and Storybook is advantageous.
