We are seeking a highly skilled Infra Dev Specialist with expertise in on-prem Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, Mirantis), Unix OS, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing, automating, and optimizing infrastructure environments with a focus on the Cards & Payments domain. This hybrid role involves platform engineering, lifecycle management, monitoring, and compliance.
Design and build on-premises Kubernetes clusters using OpenShift and Mirantis technologies.
Establish end-to-end deployment architecture including networking, storage, and security controls.
Implement automation for infrastructure tasks and application migration across Kubernetes platforms.
Perform lifecycle management for platforms and components including patching, configuration, and updates.
Ensure vulnerability management and technical security remediation (TSR) compliance across systems.
Monitor infrastructure using tools like Prometheus and Grafana for capacity, performance, and availability.
Integrate infrastructure components with CMDB, IAM, Prisma Cloud (Image Scanning), and other essential services.
Provide ongoing L2-level support and troubleshoot production infrastructure issues.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams for seamless infrastructure integration.
Utilize Go and Python scripting to automate tasks and manage configurations effectively.
Implement and manage Istio for service mesh configurations and traffic control.
Analyze system performance metrics to recommend tuning and optimization actions.
Document all infrastructure configurations, processes, and integrations for team reference.
Contribute to infrastructure strategy by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes with practical experience in OpenShift and Mirantis platforms.
Proficiency in Unix-based systems for infrastructure hosting and performance tuning.
Experience with automation and monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
Programming and scripting knowledge in Python and Go for infrastructure automation.
Working knowledge of Istio for microservices networking and security.
Hands-on experience with application migration in Kubernetes environments.
Understanding of compliance standards and vulnerability management best practices.
Familiarity with integrating infrastructure with enterprise systems like IAM, CMDB, and Prisma Cloud.
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working across functional teams.
Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure models for remote and in-office teams.
Understanding of Cards & Payments domain is preferred to ensure regulatory alignment.
Ability to document technical solutions and train junior team members if required.
