Role Summary
As a Lead SDET, you will architect, develop, and implement robust automated testing frameworks for Solera’s next-generation platforms, including computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion systems. You will work closely with product, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure best-in-class quality and performance.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, document, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools.
Build test plans and scripts for current and next-gen software platforms.
Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Engineering on release planning and delivery.
Interpret user stories and designs into functional and data validation test cases.
Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and testing environments.
Contribute to system design by offering testability and quality insights.
Integrate quality, performance, and reliability into product development from day one.
Manage all phases of QA lifecycle in Agile/Scrum settings.
Write technical documentation for tests, frameworks, interfaces, and performance metrics.
Handle defect management, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field OR 7+ years in QA/testing roles.
5+ years of hands-on experience in object-oriented programming (Java or C#).
Deep understanding of full software development lifecycle and Agile practices.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium for test automation.
Experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications.
Strong background in building scalable, extensible test automation frameworks.
Experience in End-to-End test strategies and QA planning.
Clear communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Problem-solving mindset with ability to self-manage and take initiative.
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and API testing.
Strong command of Linux OS and backend test scripting.
Background in mobile device test automation at scale.
