MERN Stack Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). You will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing web applications that are efficient, scalable, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and task estimation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token.
Experience with common front-end tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
Proficient in server-side development with Node.js and Express.js.
Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose.
Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
Knowledge of Git for version control.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
