Overview:
ISS STOXX is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join its Global Data Operations team in Mumbai. This entry-level role involves delivering data and research for assigned markets, contributing to key data areas like corporate governance, compensation, and pay details.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and organize data related to companies in the assigned market.
- Address internal and client queries regarding data alignment with methodology and policies.
- Ensure compliance with data collection processes to maintain high-quality standards.
- Meet deadlines and escalate data issues when necessary.
- Analyze and resolve any data-related discrepancies.
- Participate in various working committees and projects.
- Maintain paper and electronic records as per ISS and client file retention policies.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory: Post-graduation in Finance or Economics (Fresh postgraduates encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work under deadlines.
- Quick learner, able to grasp new concepts and processes efficiently.
- Willingness to work beyond standard hours as needed.
- Experience in data analysis, corporate governance, or business research is a plus.
