Words Completion
It is also known as sentence completion or fill in the blanks.It is a type of verbal ability question where a sentence or phrase is provided with one or more missing words. The task is to select the most appropriate word or words that fit into the context and complete the sentence correctly.
Types of Words Completion:
i. Single-word completion: In this type, a sentence or phrase has a single blank space, and you need to choose one word from the given options to fill that space.
Example: "The ___________ won the award for Best Direction at the Oscars."
Options: film, director, actor, script.
ii. Multiple-word completion: Here, the sentence or phrase may have more than one blank space, and you need to choose the correct combination of words from the given options to fill those spaces.
Example: "The Organisation aims to ___________ its market share and ___________ its customer base."
Options: expand, diversify, increase, target.
iii. Analogical completion: In this type, you are given an analogy, and you need to identify the relationship between the words in the given pair. Then, you have to select the word that completes a new analogy in a similar manner.
Example:
Book is to Author as Song is to ___________.
Options: Composer, Musician, Singer, Melody
iv. Synonym or Antonym completion: In these questions, you may be given a sentence with a blank space, and you need to choose a word from the options that is either a synonym or an antonym of the given word in the sentence.

v. Contextual completion: This type of word completion requires you to carefully analyse the context of the sentence or passage and choose the word that fits logically and grammatically.
